Submerged slatted covers accumulate trapped silt, decaying leaves, and anaerobic sludge within their below-ground recess pits. We open cover bays, pressure-wash individual PVC or polycarbonate slats, clear drainage chambers, and clear guide tracks of debris to prevent motor burnout.
